My stay at this hotel was great! The room I was allocated was 70 yards down a corridor at the far end of the building. It was spotless, and the breakfast next door was hot with a good selection. I had booked 2 weeks before and confirmed two days before, and everything was always spotless and in good order.

The Premier Inn had a convenient location, very near the A1 and Grantham town centre. The rooms were a bit smelly and damp, despite having the window open all night, and being 'a mile' from the lift. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially the breakfast options. It was forgettable where refurbishment is concerned and is damaging the Premier Inn brand, but access straight onto the A1 was good for traveling around Lincolnshire.

The rooms could benefit from an update in terms of new carpet and a deep clean of the bathroom, but they were ready early as requested and were kept cool during a heatwave. Despite some traffic noise from the main road, the location is ideal for exploring Lincolnshire and enjoying the nearby restaurant. The dining experience was of the usual Premier Inn standard, offering a substantial buffet, and the facilities were satisfactory.
